SAN DIEGO - With guns drawn officers conducted a felony stop Tuesday on Brock Anthony Brulloths and Gilberto Gonzalez Jr. for a suspected shooting.
Dispatch received a call about a shooting on County Road 334 off of West Highway 44.
The victim told dispatch that Gonzalez stepped out of the pickup and shot at him. The bullet glazed the driver's side of the victim's vehicle, said Duval County Sheriff Romeo Ramirez.
During the call the victim described the pickup truck and identified the shooting suspect as Gonzalez, 26. Duval County Sheriff Deputies and San Diego Police Officers were headed to the area when they observed the pickup in question and immediately conducted a traffic stop.
According to Sheriff Ramirez, the shooting may have been a result of a social media feud.
Brulloths, 24, and Gonzalez were immediately detained.
Officers searched Brulloths' pickup and discovered a .22 caliber automatic pistol and marijuana.
The men were booked into the Duval County jail and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and possession of marijuana.
Gonzalez was also charged with unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.
Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) were contacted.
