On Earth Day, Sunday, April 22, the Alice High School's Interact Club planted trees, bushes and flowers at a lot down South Cameron Street near the old Alternative School where a playground once stood.

The Interact Club raised money and received donations from AHS students and members of the community to make this garden possible.

Rose Torres, Anica Rangel, Crystal Almaraz, and Nicole Cuadra with the help of their sponsor, Linda. Avila, and parent, Greg Silverman, went out to the lot spruced up the dull area that was once vacated by slides and swings become a garden of flowers, succulents and trees.
