Residents of Jim Wells County came together to shine light on a heart-breaking issue Tuesday outside of the County Courthouse.

The annual Child Abuse Awareness Candlelight Vigil brought officials from the county to speak about the importance of preventing child abuse, not only in the county, but throughout the nation.
