A travel trailer stolen from Aransas County during Hurricane Harvey was located in Jim Wells County.

On Thursday, a Deputy Ruben Garcia was on patrol when he observed a woman walking her do. Garcia stopped to talk to the lady about her day when she mentioned that she believed there was a stolen travel trailer in the area.

Garcia went to investigate.

At the corner of County 355 and 355-1 the deputy observed the trailer and ran the vin number. The deputy was alerted that the travel trailer was in fact stolen.

The deputy made contact with 45-year-old Shalena Foster.

Through the investigation the deputy discovered marijuana and a stolen firearm inside the travel trailer.

Foster was arrested and transported to the Jim Wells County jail. She was charged with theft over $2,500 more than $30,000, possession of marijuana and possession of a firearm by a felon.

Approximately seven months after Hurricane Harvey the owner of the travel trailer will get back her stolen property.
