The Alice Black History committee hosted Breakfast with the Candidates Saturday morning.

Each candidate and the public were treated to a full breakfast with all the trimmings cooked by Eugene Nash, William Nash and Deacon Bernard Richardson.

The candidates were asked to speak for 3 minutes about themselves and their platform.

The Welcome was given by president Linda Nash followed by a song led by committee member Ruth Ferrell and prayer was presented by Richardson with True Light Missionary Baptist Church.

Committee Member Ofelia Hunter read the Voting Rights Act of 1965 and facilitated the forum.

Twenty-two candidates attended the breakfast.
