SAN DIEGO - Members of San Diego Family Worship Center hosted their annual nontraditional Christmas play on Christmas Eve to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ.

Before the play began the younger children sang and danced to Christmas music as their families photographed and recorded the performance.

According to church officials, the church has hosted the play for more than 25 years. Each year the play depicts the reason Christmas is celebrated by Christians.

Following the play attendees lined up for a free Christmas dinner as children received a gift from Santa.

The church invites everyone to visit them on Sundays and Wednesdays at 300 South Trevino in San Diego and followed on Facebook.
