KINGSVILLE — Jennifer Minke, associate director of admissions at Texas A&M University-Kingsville, was recently elected Vice President for International Education for the American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admission Officers (AACRAO).

This newly elected position represents the international admissions, credential evaluation and study abroad functions in addition to the general responsibilities of all the members of the board.

Prior to working at Texas A&M-Kingsville, Minke worked in the graduate admissions office at University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho and in the international admissions office at University of North Texas.

With 25 years in the field of international admission and credential evaluation, she has been a member of AACRAO since 1995 and served on many committees. In 2016, Minke was selected to be a member of the AACRAO International Evaluation Standards Council and she is the author of the Belgium and Canada: New Brunswick profiles.

Minke has served on the NCAA International Student Record Committee since 2009, serving as chair since 2015

She has a bachelor’s from University of North Texas and a master’s from University of Idaho, both in anthropology.
