SAN DIEGO - In the mix of discussing Rotary business, one of the newest Rotarians gave a brief presentation to the board on children in Honduras who are in need of a school building.

Rotarian Melissa Cantu Trevino presented a brief on the project and pictures that showed students outside, rain or shine, having class.

In Honduras, there are between 22 and 35 students in the school with one teacher. The service project the Rotarians approved will help build a 20x25 foot school where students can learn. The project will cost $5,000.

Rotarians in San Diego are in the process of reaching that goal. Anyone willing to help with the project can call 361-396-7222.

Other business discussed in the meeting was new by-laws and the upcoming Duval County Fair.
