Hillcrest Elementary students and staff celebrated the 50th day of school. The students and staff celebrated by dressing up in their favorite 1950s attire.
Some students noticed the difference in clothing from the year 1950 to present, and many students were educated in the differences between then and now.
Students couldn’t imagine a time when there was no internet, no satellite radio or satellite TV, no microwave, and certainly no smartphones, according to school officials.
The times may have changed, but the dedication of teachers have not. Teachers at Hillcrest Elementary are committed on educating their students, and it seems that with 50 days behind them, they are off to a great start!
