Duval County will host their annual Halloween Block Party on Wednesday starting at 6 p.m. behind the courthouse. Food, prizes, candy, games are free. A costume contest will be held during the party.

Oct. 28

APEX will host its first October Fest on Saturday gates opening at 5 p.m. The event will be held at 3786 East Highway 44, Alice. Free admission and free trick or treating for kids. There will be a costume and dance contest, games, food, music and more. Tickets at 50 cents or $18 for a bracelet. A kids spook house, hayride and slaughter house will also be available from 8:30 p.m. till 11 p.m.

Oct. 31

The annual Alice Halloween Bash is set for Tuesday at 6 p.m. The annual event will be downtown with food, games, candy giveaway and a Dia De Los Muertos Fashion Show sponsored by Wedding Lace.

The Abundant Life Christian Center located at 2489 North Texas Boulevard will have their Fall Harvest Festival on Tuesday from 4 p.m. till 8 p.m. with food, games, petting zoo and music.

Ben Bolt Volunteer Fire Department will host a free Trunk or Treat on Tuesday. The event starts at 6 p.m. at the Ben Bolt Plaza located at 401 East Burton Avenue. The Haunted House will be $1 per admission.

Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish on 1010 Beam Station will have the Fall Festival on Tuesday starting at 5 p.m. Kids can enjoy a saints and disney costume contest, cake walk, games and music by Laredo Variety Band.
