Hillcrest Elementary hosted an open house on Tuesday, Oct. 17. Parents were able to meet with teachers and discuss their children’s progress after the first six-weeks period.

Parents and guardians started off with a brief message from the new principal, Patrick Garza where he discussed upcoming events that would be happening at the school and PTA information as well.

Parents were released to the classrooms to see what their children have been doing academically, and how the teacher has been using different materials and resources for the best instruction possible.

There was a great turnout, and teachers and staff were able to meet many people and answer many questions. Hillcrest Elementary will be partnering with parents and the community many times this year.
