SAN DIEGO - The City of San Diego, through its Business and Economic Development Consulting Firm, EMC Strategy Group, LLC, will hold the its first collaborative career fair on Nov. 8 at San Diego High School.
EMC Strategy Group, LLC, has been working on behalf of the City of San Diego to reach out to several State and Federal agencies to support the San Diego Collaborative Career Fair.
Special thanks to San Diego ISD Superintendent of Schools Dr. Sam Bueno and San Diego High School Principal Claudette Garcia for agreeing to host the career fair.
Participating agencies include AT&T, U.S. Border Patrol, U.S. Customs, Texas Department of Public Safety, Texas Department of Corrections, Del Mar College and Coastal Bend College.
The San Diego Collaborative Career Fair will have two dedicated sessions. The high school student session is from 9 a.m. till 11:30 a.m. (11th and 12th grade students). The general public session will be from 1:30 p.m. till 4 p.m.
“We are very excited about this collaborative career fair and the opportunities that it will create for the residents of San Diego and the region,” said EMC Owner and Founder Janice M. Gonzalez.
“I support all efforts to help our citizens seek quality employment, which will help them individually and our community grow economically,” said San Diego Mayor Sally Lichtenberger. “The City Council and I are grateful that Dr. Sam Bueno and the San Diego ISD are supporting this first collaborative career fair."
