Rotary International District 5930 District Governor was present at the Alice and San Diego Rotary meetings to discuss what Rotary meant to her and what it is to the community.

District Governor Betty Ramirez-Lara became a member of Rotary International after a lunch invitation by a friend in 2001. Over the years, Ramirez-Lara has learned what Rotary truly is, and how it affects her life and others around the world.

Ramiez-Lara talked to local Rotarians about how ints important to develop future leaders today so that Rotary work can continue to give people hope and opportunities they never knew possible.

Being a Rotarian is a volunteer position where leaders, exchange ideas and take action on those ideas.

Rotary International has been around for 112 years.
