With students returning to school in a few weeks, school districts are preparing to feed the students healthy meals throughout the year.
Alice ISD and its food and nutrition partner Aramark are pleased to announce that ALL students in the district will be provided a free breakfast and lunch, under the National School Lunch Program and School Breakfast. For the 2017-2018 school year, Alice ISD schools will operate the Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) to provide breakfast and lunch to all students in the district at no charge and eliminate the collection of meal applications for free, reduced-price, and paid student meals.
Ben Bolt Palito Blanco ISD
BBISD offers healthy meals to students at no cost or reduced cost for those who qualify. Regular breakfast price is $1.50 and lunch costs $2.25. Reduced price is $0.30 for breakfast and $0.40 for lunch. For more information contact Margie Buentello at 361-664-5345 or via email at email@example.com.

La Gloria ISD
La Gloria ISD announced its policy for providing free and reduced-price meals for children served depending on income eligibility. Starting on Friday, Aug. 25, La Gloria ISD will begin distributing letters to the households of the children in the district about eligibility benefits and any actions households need to take to apply for these benefits. Each school or the central office has a copy of the policy, that may be reviewed by anyone upon request. Applications are available at 182 East County Road 401 in Falfurrias. Any household that does not receive a letter and feels it should have should contact Chris Moralez at 361-325-2330.
