The Alice Police Department Narcotic Division conducted a drug raid on Thursday night at a residence on the 600 block of Tito Street.

Tiffany Hobbs and Patricia Lopez were arrested after officers located heroin, crystal meth, a semi-automatic hand gun and paraphernalia used in trafficking narcotics inside the residence, according to Lt. Luis Barrera.

The women were taken to the Jim Wells County jail.

This is the third raid on this organization and the second raid on this residence within the last several months.

This is an ongoing investigation and more arrests are possible as a result.

The Narcotic Division was assisted by the Duval County Sheriff's Office and the Central South Texas Criminal Investigative Unit.

According to Barrera, the Alice PD's Narcotic Division will continue to seek out individuals that use and traffic drugs within the community; more raid to follow.

“We here at the Alice Police Department encourage the good citizens of our community to have confidence in our law enforcement agency to report suspicious activity when it is observed,” Barrera said.
