What appears as a school bus from the outside was turned into the Coyote Book Mobile, a fun-sized library where Alice Independent School District students can check out books and use computers during the summer months.

With shelves of books with colored stickers and walls covered in reading posters, students are still in an educational environment just as if they were setting in their school library.

The Coyote Book Mobile summer program will be open from 9 a.m. to noon through July 27 at four different locations. Mondays will be at Schallert Elementary, Tuesdays at Boys and Girls Club of Alice, Wednesdays at Cameron Village Apts. and Thursdays at Saenz Elementary. Final day for book checkout is July 20 and all books are due July 27.

After July 27, overdue books can be turned in to the Alice High School library.
