The public is invited to an artist reception and talk by Chicana pop artist Mayra Zamora at the Tejano Civil Rights Museum Thursday, June 8, from 6 to 9 p.m. with a talk slated for 7 p.m.

Zamora is an up-and-coming young artists with work throughout Corpus Christi and the state. Her work can be seen at the Art Center and at Whataburger Field.

The Tejano Civil Rights Museum is operated in part by the College of Arts and Sciences at Texas A&M University-Kingsville.
