Realitos - On Wednesday, May 17 agents with the Central South Texas Criminal Investigation Unit assisted by Duval County, Jim Wells County and Brooks County Sheriff's Departments, and the Alice and Falfurrias Police Departments executed two early morning narcotics search warrants on the 6000 block of Highway 359.

Warrants resulted in the discovery of 111.5 grams of cocaine and $1,861 in U.S. currency believed to be derived from the sale of the illegal substance, according to Duval County Sheriff Officials.

The execution of warrants led to the arrest of local residents Rudy Silvas, 48, and Jose Amador Silvas, 55.

Both men were charged with manufacturing and delivery of a controlled substance and engaging in organized criminal activity. They were transported and booked into the Duval County jail.
