More than 900 students attended the annual Jim Wells County Ag Fair from Wednesday through Friday at the Jim Wells County Fairgrounds. The fourth grade students and their teachers from Alice, Orange Grove, Premont, San Diego. Freer, Ben Bolt and Falfurrias attendance.

Students attended sessions on lectures on agriculture and animals in South Texas

Quick lessons on where food, clothing and other products actually come from before they hit the shelves of local stores.

Demonstration on clean water, milking dairy cows, and the wildlife that is found in the ranch land around the area.

Other sessions the students attended were on Texas agriculture products and nutrition, livestock and wildlife, and environmental and natural resources.
