Three students attended the Rotary Youth Leadership Academy (RYLA) for a three day camp where they learned to interact with their peers and leadership skills.

Alice High School junior students Alberto A. Taboada, Alyssa Sauceda and Rose Torres spent their weekend at Camp Zephyr at Mathis Lake.

The students were sponsored to attend RYLA by the Alice Rotary Club. On Wednesday the students addressed rotarian about their individual experiences at the leadership development program.

In three day the students made connections with other young peers, overcame obstacles and learn about their strengths and weaknesses.

Each student thanked the rotarians for allowing them to have the life altering experience.
