Officers seized 22 grams of black tar heroin and 99 grams of marijuana during a raid on the 700 block of Gibson Thursday morning.
When officers arrived at the house they made contact with Brian Blackington, 42, two adult women and two juveniles in the home.
Agents from Alice Police Department, Duval, Jim Wells and Brooks County Sheriff's Offices, and the Central South Texas Criminal Investigative Unit entered and secured the residence. When the agents entered one of the adult women locked herself and the two juveniles inside a bedroom.
According to Sgt. Nick Juarez with the Alice Police Department, the woman jumped through a bedroom window while holding an infant. The other juvenile in the room also jumped through the window.
Due to the injuries the woman and infant sustained they were transported to the hospital by ambulance. The juvenile was taken to the hospital via a personal vehicle.
Officers secured Blackington and questioned him about any narcotics in the home. He led officers to marijuana that was on top of a bedroom dresser and the black tar heroin inside the dresser, Juarez stated.
A further search of the property uncovered digital scales, more marijuana, a handgun, ammunition and a surveillance system.
Blackington was transported to the JWC jail and charged with manufacturing and delivery of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.
