A brass and clarinet ensemble from the Alice High School Band performed several Christmas selections as part of the 12 days of Christmas in Alice.

The group of musicians played for the public at PlainsCapital Bank Thursday, Dec. 1 located at 601East Main Street.

According to Alice Band Director, the band is expected to grow as the Christmas season continues.

Friday, Dec. 2 - Movies at the Park next to the Chamber at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3 - Pets with Santa. Take free pictures with Santa at the Chamber of Commerce. Sunday, Dec. 4 - Toy and Can Food Drive at the Chamber at 10 a.m. New, unwrapped toys will be donate to the Jim Wells County Juvenile Probation Office and the can food will benefit the Alice Food Pantry. Tuesday, Dec 6 - Story Night at the Alice Public Library located at 401 East Third Street starting at 6 p.m.
